This yellow head could be me,
since I've been trying to succeed
as an artist. There are the paint brushes and my hands -
or any artist's hands. In the
painting the artist is in her own
world; nobody is telling her how to feel; nobody's forcing her to do anything she doesn't want to do.

Sometimes I get so immersed
in my paintings,
I'm just somewhere else.
I create my own universe that you
get to see
little by little
through every painting I work at
and every painting I create
is part of me going out a little by little to all of you.

You know it is easy to let go."
